11. St George Illawarra Dragons: Tyson Frizell

In a season that didn't have many highsย for the Dragons, Tyson Frizell was one player that impressed in 2016.

Frizell played in 21 games this season scoring three tries and running for 2009 metres, and his fantastic year was rewarded by a maiden Blues State of Origin jersey.
