Sydney Roosters forward Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has been successful in having his Grade 1 Dangerous Contact – Head/Neck charge overturned at the NRL Judiciary tonight.
Waerea-Hargreaves had been facing two-week stint on the sidelines for allegedly leading with the head against North Queensland Cowboys lock Josh McGuire on Sunday.
The Roosters entered a not-guilty plea for the charge which the NRL Judiciary accepted resulting in the two=week ban being overturned.
Waerea-Hargreaves is now available to take his place in the Roosters side for this Saturday’s Round 18 home fixture against the Newcastle Knights at the SCG.
