Despite many recent signings, a number of NRL players are still without a club for the 2018 season.

These players could all add value to a club in 2018 if given the opportunity to do so.

Drew Hutchinson is a talented young player and likely would have played halfback for the Dragons in 2017 if he did not get injured in the pre-season.

Hutchinson has been starved of an NRL opportunity but has the talent to succeed if a club gives him a chance.

Frank Pritchard

Frank Pritchard has confirmed that he wants to continue playing in 2018 and is now waiting on the Eels to make a decision.

Pritchard is an NRL veteran that will add quality to the Eels forward back if he is re-signed for 2018.

Travis Waddell

Travis Waddell has played nearly 80 NRL games and has shown that he is a quality hooker.

Unfortunately, he has been unable to represent the Broncos on many occasions but Waddell is certainly good enough to be signed to an NRL club.

Nate Myles

Despite a disappointing 2017, Nate Myles is too good to go unsigned in 2018.

Myles has played in many representative level games and his experience and leadership would be invaluable for with a younger forward pack.

Tyrone Roberts

Tyrone Roberts has continued to improve as a player since joining the Gold Coast Titans in 2016.

After some stellar performances this year, Roberts will likely be signed soon, and his ability to play in many positions will not hurt his chances.

Kalifa Faifai Loa

HAMILTON, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 19: Kalifa Faifai Loa of the Dragons scores a try during the round 11 NRL match between the New Zealand Warriors and the St George Illawarra Dragons at Waikato Stadium on May 19, 2017 in Hamilton, New Zealand. (Photo by Hannah Peters/Getty Images)

Kalifa Faifai Loa has been excellent for the Dragons when he was called upon this year, showing the world that he is still NRL quality.

The number of excellent wingers in the competition means that Faifai Loa is no longer a starting player, but he would certainly be a useful signing for clubs lacking depth.

Chase Stanley

Chase Stanley has had a career plagued with injury; however, the powerful centre continues to impress on the field.

Stanley could easily make the best 17 at many clubs, and for a fraction of the price of similarly skilled players.

Sam Tagataese

Sam Tagataese was part of the 2016 Cronulla Sharks team that won the grand final and has over 150 NRL games to date.

The experienced forward continually provides an impact off the bench and would be an asset to a number of clubs.

Darius Boyd

Darius Boyd is yet to re-sign with the Broncos, though it is expected that he will agree to a four-year deal.

The Broncos captain will be pivotal for Brisbane in 2018 and beyond, though Boyd has admitted he is unsure how long he wishes to play for.

Cooper Cronk

Cooper Cronk may still decide to retire, but if he is signed it will be one of the biggest transfers in NRL history.

The 2017 premiership winner will be huge for any club that can manage to land him and no doubt there are a number of clubs still trying to recruit Cronk for 2018.
