Jarryd Hayne looks to have outlasted Neil Henry on the Gold Coast with reports the club are set to sack the coach with the situation now untenable between the pair.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that this Thursday's match against the Parramatta Eels will be Henry's last as coach of the Titans.
Both Hayne and Henry are off contract at the end of 2018 but it will only cost the club around $400,000 to cut Henry loose now, compared to $1,200,00 it would cost to release Hayne.
It isn't just a money issue though, with suggestions other players, including star halfback Ashley Taylor, also have issues with Henry.
The club has released a statement that no decision has yet been made and an announcement will be made next week.

The result out of today’s meetings will see the Board continue to discuss a number of topics as it is believed that there are more issues to investigate than just the relationship between Henry and Hayne.
Some key findings from the discussions included:
- There is no set timeline on when a decision will be made but the Board are hopeful it will be done in the coming weeks.
- There are more concerns than just the relationship between the pair. Those issues will continue to be discussed at Board level.
