Wests Tigers have announced the signature of Michael Chee Kam to a contract extension.

The 27-year-old has put pen to paper on a new deal, that will see him remain a Tiger until at least the end of the 2021 season.

Chee Kam has played 58 games for the Tigers, and has become one of Michael Maguire's most consistent players.

โ€œI couldnโ€™t see myself playing anywhere other than Wests Tigers,โ€ Chee Kam told weststigers.com.au.

โ€œI didnโ€™t want to go anywhere else and this is home for me now.

โ€œThe coaching staff have shown a lot of faith and belief in me, and Iโ€™m really excited to play for them and my teammates and grow as a result of that.

โ€œI can see where this team is getting to right now and I want to be a part of that.

"The club is in a really good place going forward and I want to bring the success that I know is there.โ€
