Now over halfway through the 2020 NRL season, we've had some superstar performances from the usual culprits, seen incredible rookies emerge and other players develop.
Below is a list of the top 10 NRL improvers of 2020.
These are players who have either reached their potential or look like completely different players from their 2018/2019 selves.
Rookies won't be considered, i.e Harry Grant due to not playing NRL last season, while players such as George Williams will also be left out due to the difference in competition.
These are players who have improved dramatically in the past season or two.
Let us know below if you agree with our list or if we left anyone out.
2. Kyle Flanagan
I framed this list prior to him being dropped due to perceived errors, however I stand by that Kyle Flanagan is now twice the player he was during his fringe reserve grade run for the Sharks.
Anyone with any vision at all could see that Kyle Flanagan was going to be a superstar at seven, but his opening 11 weeks were largely well beyond what could be expected of a relative rookie.
Flanagan seems to have tightened up his discipline, which really let him down at the Sharks. He has six try assists and four forced drop outs so far in 2020 and was topping the point scoring list prior to his demotion. His goal kicking percentage has risen from 61% to 80% which shows his confidence and skill levels are up.
He'll be back prior to the Roosters finals run and will prove to be a real difference maker. He has tightened up his defence big time also.
Seriously?
