Now over halfway through the 2020 NRL season, we've had some superstar performances from the usual culprits, seen incredible rookies emerge and other players develop.
Below is a list of the top 10 NRL improvers of 2020.
These are players who have either reached their potential or look like completely different players from their 2018/2019 selves.
Rookies won't be considered, i.e Harry Grant due to not playing NRL last season, while players such as George Williams will also be left out due to the difference in competition.
These are players who have improved dramatically in the past season or two.
Let us know below if you agree with our list or if we left anyone out.
6. Isaah Yeo
This is another entry that will be difficult to justify with stats alone, as Yeo has always been a workhorse capable of big numbers. That said, in 2020 those numbers mean far, far more.
He has four times as many line breaks in 13 games this season than he recorded in last year's 18. His two tries already equals last year's tally.
The big improvement is in terms of metres made. Last year he made 87 per game. This season he is up to 143 per game. That's a HUGE difference by a middle forward.
He has become a game changer in attack and defence and is far more than just a stats guy. He's in the Origin discussion where fair to say that last season he was a Super Coach player at best. HUGE improver.
Seriously?
