One down, 24 to go.
The first eight games of the 2021 NRL season didn't just provide us with our initial set of winners and losers, it raised another series of questions.
With each of the league's 16 teams set to do battle again this weekend, we attempted to answer the major issues facing their playing lists and coaches alike.
Gold Coast Titans
Do they really mean business?
With a documentary crew mapping their desire to rise and a number of big names, and bodies, crossing to Robina this off-season, there was rare cause for optimism on the Sunshine Coast for once.
But after their limp Round 1 loss to the well-drilled Warriors, the same old sinking feeling is likely to be setting in.
Chin up though, Titans fans. Round 1 has never been your forte โ just look at the past three seasons. And with a date against your big brothers from Brisbane this weekend, recent history will show you not to steer too hard into the malaise just yet.
Last season, Justin Holbrook led your team to a 2-0 record against the beleaguered Broncos, with a combined 48 points scored and just 18 conceded.

With the club's next four games all set to take place inside the Sunshine state, a win on Friday night will entrench the previously unthinkable theory - the Titans are currently Queensland's most dangerous franchise.
In a similar vein to the Bulldogs, I may have been too quick to purchase stocks in the rising Titans. However, will I be selling them anytime soon? No chance. I'm prepared to wait for my dividend.
