Even the greatest players have down seasons. Whether that be to a point they lose their spot, or just don't quite live up to their previous performances.

Below we look at 10 players who probably didn't have the 2020 they expected, whom I fully expect to bounce back in a big way.

We've left rookies off who are obviously expected to improve as they continue in their development.

3. Corey Oates

Few players saw their stocks drop more than the former Origin winger. Heading into 2020 there was talk that Sydney-based clubs would offer up big money to bring Oates across as a second rower or wing option.

Shifted from the wing, to the second row, to the interchange bench, he scored just two tries in 14 appearances, whilst running for less than 100 metres per game.

Oates escaped a potential career-ending injury later in the season last year and once fully fit I expect him to be back scoring highlight reel tries for the Broncs.
