Even the greatest players have down seasons. Whether that be to a point they lose their spot, or just don't quite live up to their previous performances.
Below we look at 10 players who probably didn't have the 2020 they expected, whom I fully expect to bounce back in a big way.
We've left rookies off who are obviously expected to improve as they continue in their development.
4. Joe Ofahengaue
Sometimes players need a change of scenery to once again reach their best. That couldn't be more true in the case of former QLD prop Joe Ofahengaue.
The now-Tiger lost 25 metres per game on his 2019 average, missed almost the same amount of tackles as the year before despite playing five less games, and went from an Origin prop to a part time bench player.
By his own standards, Joe Ofahengaue had a poor 2020 at the Brisbane Broncos.
He's ready to bounce back to his best at the Wests Tigers.

The Tigers have signed a very good big man here. Don't let his 2020 season fool you. Likely to return to a big-minute starting role in the orange and black, I expect a huge season from big Joe.
