Even the greatest players have down seasons. Whether that be to a point they lose their spot, or just don't quite live up to their previous performances.

Below we look at 10 players who probably didn't have the 2020 they expected, whom I fully expect to bounce back in a big way.

We've left rookies off who are obviously expected to improve as they continue in their development.

6. Matt Moylan

Matt Moylan's 2020 season will always be remembered for the constant string of injuries suffered. I truly believe he would have been better sitting out the large majority of the season, even when he was on the field he was not himself.

I don't like ragging on players who play hurt, but this is a guy the Sharks pay almost a million dollars a season to get them into the finals. They paid for 2018 Matt Moylan but they got no tries and three try assists in eight games.

Moylan has been mentioned a thousand times in the media this week alone re his pre-season efforts. He looks a million dollars. If he can stay fit, there's no way a player this talented can be as ordinary again. It'll be great to see him in full flight once more.
