North Queensland enforcer Jason Taumalolo is set for a stint on the sidelines after sustaining a knee injury during his side's 29-10 loss to the Broncos on Friday night.
The Cowboys superstar was tackled by Tevita Pangai Jr in the eighth minute of the contest, and was visibly in pain from the moment he hit the turf.
Taumalolo played on until late in the first half, being substituted in the 33rd minute. He wouldn't return to the action after half-time, with North Queensland coach Paul Green confirming the knee injury was a "medial issue."
Twitter account NRL Physio looked at the Taumalolo footage, suggesting it would be just a low grade sprain for the 25-year-old, which could see him return to action within a month.
Cowboys halfback Michael Morgan also suffered a right shoulder injury, although Green wasn't worried about the severity of his injury when quizzed about it post-game.
