Was as dangerous as ever with ball in hand, recording 259 run metres, a try assist and a line break. Coughed up the ball late in the second half on the first tackle however, which saw the Maroons go on to score the match winning try.
Solid on debut. Ran for 115 run metres and broke seven tackles.
Poor defensively, sin binned for a professional foul and went missing when his forwards needed him to take some hard carries.
His had an outstanding season in 2019 and wound the clock back once again last night. Scored a try, broke nine tackles and recorded a line break.
Shaky in defence but tried his guts out. Ran for 142 run metres and broke five tackles.
Was threatening at times but never really got himself into the contest.
Once again, the New South Wales halves pairing was the side's weak point. Had a strong kicking game but apart from that, Cleary didn’t contribute much.
Ran for 150 metres and completed 30 tackles. You’ve got to feel for Klemmer. Consistently one of the best forwards for the game but has never tasted much success.
Tore the Queensland middle to shreds in the first half. Recorded a line break, ran for over 120 metres from dummy-half and finished the contest with 45 tackles.
Was well contained and didn’t make much of an impact.
Not his best performance but he was still as busy as ever with 12 carries and over 30 tackles.
Has had a quiet season and things didn’t change here.
Along with Klemmer, Trbojevic can hold his head high. 17 carries for 140 metres and 20 tackles saw him awarded with a late consolation try.
Was a strange selection with guys like Victor Radley and John Asiata waiting in the wings. Threw an intercept pass which saw Dane Gagai score a length of the field try.
Was solid but may have been thrown into the Origin mix a little too early.
Made for Origin. Didn’t look out of place in his 50-minute stint.
Not the same player he was when he burst onto the scene. Will be lucky to keep his place for Game II.
