Billy Slater has made a successful return for the Melbourne Storm but the news isn't so good for Cameron Munster with the utility suffering a suspected broken jaw.
Munster was forced from the field in the 60th minute after a nasty head clash with Broncos winger Corey Oates.
If Munster does have a broken jaw, the return of Billy Slater could not have been better timed.
Munster had been tipped to play five-eighth for the Storm in 2017 but had spent the opening rounds at fullback covering for Slater with new recruit Ryley Jacks playing the five-eighth role.
A stint on the sidelines for Munster would see Jacks stay in the No. 6 jersey for now.
