With the 2020 competition run and won and the post-season Origin series decided, it is now time to shift our eyes to the future.
What exactly will season 2021 have in store for us? Which teams will rise? Who will drop off? Who will win the whole thing?
Check out ALL the player moves ahead of the 2021 season right here!
Although some may have placed a few long-term, futures multis on the above, we've chosen to dissect the individuals that are now at new homes.
Of the multitude of names that have shifted and signed with previous rivals, these are the six names that are set to thrive on greener pastures next year.
6. Harry Grant
Like Foran, I am certain that there will be some out there willing to argue the validity of Harry Grant's name in this list.
However, after just a pair of outings for the Victorian outfit, I'm willing to call the hooker's return south a homecoming.
Anyone who wasn't in a comatose state until recently will have seen just how brilliant the 22-year-old was this season.
In a year that saw the Queenslander statistically break out, earn the Rookie of the Year award on Dally M night and earn an Origin debut, it seemed that anything Grant touched for both Wests and the Maroons turned to gold.
With Cameron Smith likely to hang his well-worn boots up any day now, it appears elementary that Grant will be recalled from his stint as a Tiger and be clad in purple for 2021.
The nippy Rockhampton nine will return to Melbourne set to face Brandon Smith in a head-to-head battle for the starting job for next season.
Although Smith has proven himself as a worthy understudy to his namesake in his four seasons at the Storm, expect Grant to receive plenty of playing time, even if he misses out on the first-string tag.
Either way, expect Grant's combination with Cameron Munster to yield many highlights both next year and well into the future.
