Although some may have placed a few long-term, futures multis on the above, we've chosen to dissect the individuals that are now at new homes.
Of the multitude of names that have shifted and signed with previous rivals, these are the six names that are set to thrive on greener pastures next year.
5. Kyle Flanagan
Despite only entering his fourth year at NRL level, playmaker Kyle Flanagan will start the 2021 season at his third club.
After beginning his career under Father Shane at the Sharks, the 22-year-old sensationally crossed to the Roosters this year to help the tri-colours secure their premiership three-peat.
Although the Chooks finished fourth and missed out on the silverware, Flanagan enjoyed a breakout season in Sydney's east.
The young half made 20 appearances in 2020 and managed 198 points, 11 try assists, and 5,147 kick metres.
Now a Bulldog, Flanagan will no longer play second fiddle to the likes of Luke Keary, but will instead lead the Canterbury line following Kieran Foran's Belmore exit.
Flanagan has proven that he is more than adept at the grade and with creative license to kill under Trent Barrett in 2021, expect the Chooks to be kicking themselves when he adds some bite back into the previously toothless Dog's offense.
