Although some may have placed a few long-term, futures multis on the above, we've chosen to dissect the individuals that are now at new homes.
Of the multitude of names that have shifted and signed with previous rivals, these are the six names that are set to thrive on greener pastures next year.
4. Addin Fonua-Blake
Having been voted the game's best prop by his peers earlier in the year, when Addin Fonua-Blake announced he wanted out of Manly, there was no shortage of suitors.
In mid-July, the 25-year-old was chosen ahead of stars Josh Papalii, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Payne Haas as the best big man in the game. Although since then his form dipped and off-field pressures began to rise, the quality of the dual international is undeniable.
Although 2020 was not the forward's magnum opus at the first-grade level, the big man still managed 2,498 running metres, 12 offloads, three tries and just five errors in his final year as a Sea-Eagle.
Now across the ditch and amongst family, you can be sure that Fonua-Blake's form will soar with the Warriors.
Joining a young forward pack that put the competition on notice this year, Fonua-Blake is likely to be asked to lead said group by setting the on-field standard.
Supercoach and fantasy fans may baulk at the forward's initial asking price next season, however, I'm tipping they'll be ruing the day by mid-season.
