Although some may have placed a few long-term, futures multis on the above, we've chosen to dissect the individuals that are now at new homes.

Of the multitude of names that have shifted and signed with previous rivals, these are the six names that are set to thrive on greener pastures next year.

3. Nick Cotric

After 93 appearances for the Green Machine, Canberra Raider Nick Cotric has traded the nation's capital for Sydney's west.

In a move that will not only bolster the back's bank balance, but also see him in a senior role at Belmore, Cotric has been handed the keys to drive the cellar dwelling Dogs back up the table.

Across his four seasons in the NRL, Cotric has crossed the line on 46 occasions at an average of 11.5 times a year. With Canterbury completing the season with a -222 points differential, the one-time Origin and Australian representative appears to be the antidote to their woes.

Cotric will join the likes of Jayden Okunbor, Nick Meaney, Will Hopate and Dallin Watene-Zalezniak behind the ball in 2021 and if this week's rumours are true, possibly Josh Addo-Carr in 2022.
