Andrew Ryan played 290 games across 12 seasons with both the Eels and the Bulldogs, with 2018 of those coming for Canterbury between 2003-11.
In just his second season with the Dogs, Ryan captained his side to the 2004 premiership, with regular captain Steve Price ruled out after suffering an injury in the preliminary final.
Ryan was then selected to play for Australia soon after, and played 11 games for the Kangaroos in his career.
The forward also played 12 times for New South Wales in State of Origin, and won two series'.
He was named as the Dally M Captain of the Year in 2009, and scored 118 tries over his 290-game career.

"It's a tough one to start with, but I think the Roosters this week. I think they've just got so many big game players in big moments, so I expect the Roosters in a very tight one."

"Another extremely tough game, but I'm going to run with the Storm, I just think at home, even though they haven't been in great form, I expect them to have a polished performance this week."

"I'm thinking the Rabbitohs at home this week, I just think they've found a heap of form. Damien Cook's been playing well, so I'll back the Rabbits."

"Another tough one, gee there's some tough tips this week! I'm going to go with Manly just for the simple fact that they struggled last week, and I think they'll improve their performance this week. Mitchell Pearce might hurt [Newcastle] for a week or two at least."

"I'm going to go with the Bulldogs this week. I think they fought hard against the Roosters last week, and if they continue with that attack they'll get the win."

"I think the Sharks, I reckon they'll get a heap of confidence out of last week and get the win."

"I think the same with the Cowboys, they'll get a heap of confidence out of last week and I think they'll finally start to get into a bit of a groove."
