Round 11 of NRL went more smoothly than Round 10 for the majority of Superbru tippers as the average number of correct outcomes managed increased to five out of eight. The biggest upset of the round was Manlyโs win over Melbourne Storm (predicted by 9%) while wins for the Broncos and the Titans were also unexpected.
This week, we have several intriguing fixtures to enjoy with the headline game being Penrithโs home match against the Dragons who currently sit two points ahead of the Panthers at the very top of the ladder. Find out who the Superbru crowd expect to win that match and indeed all the others in Round 12 by reading the insights below.
Broncos vs. Eels
An impressive win over the Roosters last week and a home game against the Eels in Round 12, 94% of Superbru tippers are expecting Brisbane to bag another victory here. The Eels have lost their last three on the bounce.
Raiders vs. Sea Eagles
Manlyโs shock win against Melbourne last week added to an impressive result against the Broncos the week before meaning the Sea Eagles come into this one in a bit of form. However, the Raiders have an identical season record to Manly of 4 wins from 11 games and there are currently 68% of the Superbru community tipping the home side. The relatively even split suggests this one could go either way and will certainly have a big effect on private league leaderboards!
Cowboys vs. Storm
Could the Cowboys become the second team in as many weeks to shock Melbourne Storm? 20% of the community believe so. The current average tip is therefore naturally for the Storm but only by 6 points meaning this one could also be tight.
Roosters vs. Titans
A far less even game in terms of tips made so far, 96% are backing the Sydney Roosters to beat the Titans despite the latter picking up their first win a while last week against the Knights.
Warriors vs. Rabbitohs
A crunch fixture towards the top of the ladder, this is the first of two fixtures this week that really are on a knife edge. The Warriors currently sit two points ahead of the Rabbitohs on the ladder and there is a slight majority leaning towards the NZ side. 56% have picked the Warriors with the average tip showing a margin of just 0.62!
Panthers vs. Dragons
Incredibly, this game is tighter still. A minute majority of just 52% are backing Penrith as the home team despite the Dragons sitting top of the ladder. However, as weโve seen in rare cases before, the average margin tip is actually in favour of the Dragons by 0.11 due to those tipping the Dragons being slightly more confident of the winning margin!
Knights vs. Sharks
After an impressive recent run of five consecutive victories, itโs no surprise to see 85% are tipping the Sharks to beat the Knights this Sunday. In contrast, the Knights have lost their last three so form certainly suggests the crowd are correct here.
Wests Tigers vs. Bulldogs
Finally, thereโs an identical majority of 85% tipping the Wests Tigers to round off the NRL weekend with a win over the Dogs. The average margin tip suggests the Tigers will win by 6.
