Round 10 of NRL certainly wasnโt easy for Superbru tippers as the average player managed just 3.74 correct tips out 8. Manlyโs win over the Broncos was the shock of the round (called by 11%) but the Roosters beating the Warriors to 0 and the Rabbitohs picking up a very good win over the Dragons were also unexpected.
Moving on to Round 11, weโll be letting you know which teams are being backed for glory this week by the Superbru players that have saved their tips so far. Thereโs a relatively strong majority backing a favourite in each game suggesting this round may be slightly more straightforward... but that rarely seems to be the case this season!
Panthers vs. Wests Tigers
Following their win over the Knights last week, the Panthers are now just two points behind the ladder leaders and the majority of tippers expect them to beat the Wests Tigers on Thursday in Penrith. The average taken from all exact tips so far suggest the home side will win this one by 6.
Eels vs. Warriors
Can the Warriors bounce back from that 0-32 defeat they suffered in NZ last week against the Roosters? 78% of Superbru players believe so. After a perfect start to the season the Warriors now look a little wobbly but they are facing an Eels side that won only twice so far this season and sit bottom of the ladder.
Broncos vs. Roosters
At Superbru, the Roosters are slight favourites for this interesting looking clash at the Suncorp Stadium on Friday. 66% are backing the visitors with the average margin tip suggesting it will be a narrow victory by just three points.
Titans vs. Knights
The loss against Melbourne Storm that the Titans suffered in Round 10 means they have not lost 5 on the bounce and 65% of Superbru tippers expect that number to rise to 6 on Saturday. The Knights are struggling a little themselves having lost their last two meaning there isnโt really much form or momentum to go by here. In terms of season records the Titans have won 3 out of 10 while the Knights have won 50% of their games.
Cowboys vs. Rabbitohs
No doubt influenced by last weekโs win over the Dragons, 78% are backing the Rabbitohs to build on that considerable momentum by beating the Cowboys in Townsville on Saturday. The away side have only lost one of their last five.
Storm vs. Sea Eagles
Manly caused the biggest upset of the last round but if they can pull off another win here it would be an even greater shock to the Superbru community! 92% are backing the Storm to win what should be a comfortable match for the hosts.
Dragons vs. Raiders
They may have lost last week, but thereโs no chance of the same happening again in this round according to tippers at Superbru. 93% have picked the table toppers with the average margin tip standing at Dragons by 10.
Sharks vs. Bulldogs
Finally, 91% of players expect a straightforward win for the Sharks to end Round 11. After winning their last four on the spin, the Sharks face a Bulldogs side that has only won three times this season.
