Sydney Roosters player Shaun Kenny-Dowall has been stood down indefinitely by the club, pending the conclusion of their internal investigation.
Kenny-Dowall was charged with drug possession after he was allegedly caught with half a gram of cocaine at a Sydney nightclub.
Off contract at the end of the season, Kenny-Dowall had been linked with a move to the Newcastle Knights but they have since put contract talks on hold.

The Sydney Roosters wish to advise that Shaun Kenny-Dowall has been stood down indefinitely, pending the conclusion of the Club’s internal investigation and consultation with the Club’s Board of Directors.
The Club continues to work closely with the NRL Integrity Unit and will be making no further comment at this time.
