The Sydney Roosters have announced the return of Frank-Paul Nuuausala to the club for the 2018 season.
Roosters player 1074, Nuuausala has signed a one-year deal to return to the Club he made his NRL debut with in 2007.
The 31-year-old made 153 appearances for the Roosters between 2007-2014 and was a member of the Club’s 2013 Premiership-winning side.
In a career which has spanned 184 NRL first grade games to date, Nuuausala made 31 appearances for the Canberra Raiders between 2015-2016.
He also played 47 matches with English Super League side Wigan Warriors between 2016-2017.
“I’m very happy to be back at the Roosters. The Club is my home and everyone at the Roosters is like my family,” said Nuuausala.
“I’m looking forward to seeing all the old faces and meeting everyone new at the Club, and then getting straight into training, and doing my best for the team here,” he added.
The veteran’s addition to the playing squad was welcomed by Roosters Head Coach Trent Robinson.
“It’s great to welcome Frank-Paul Nuuausala back home to the Roosters,” said Robinson.
“Frank’s a good man and an experienced campaigner who still has a lot of good footy in him. He adds depth to our forwards and we’re all pleased to see him back in Roosters colours,” he added
Nuuausala has joined the Sydney Roosters NRL squad with immediate effect.
