Mate it everywhere. Last season the Roosters put a billboard up in the USA promoting themselves as the World Champion.

Looking forward to seeing this game but really it doesn’t compare to winning back to back NRL titles

First point about your crowd figures. Who cares?
Second point. Penrith played a different club in 2004, to the one your Nuggets played in 2003. So how do you know that the crowd pulling power also hasn’t got to do with the English Home teams? Penrith played Bradford in 2004 & Nuggets played St.Helens in 2003. Plus , there was only 845 crowd difference between those two years.
Mega Difference in those crowds , just a year apart.

Answer……Really TwentyOne, one of the biggest crowds witnessed the Roosters win the WCC in 2014,
Twenty1 meant to say that his Rabbits attracted one of the all time lowest crowds in England, even with the Burgess flashing brothers.

Your sample material is far too small to make any real comparison from in the first place. The amount of material you’ve given wouldn’t be enough for any real scientific evaluation to be made.
You don’t even have all the other years that your Nuggets aren’t playing in that game .

How can you put in one crowd figure from a game played in a different country? Unless you have a huge list of the same Challenge games played here, you’d have to also exclude that game. So much for your examples.

About 500-800 Wgan fans in one area on tour while the remainder were in Red White and Blue. You can check out every World Club Challenge crowd figures on Wikipedia if you have enough peanuts to work it out.

But I can guarantee There is not to many lower than 17K. Perhaps Melbourne was involved in a 13K crowd if I remember right.

But my whole point is to show you and TwentyOne that all Rooster games were bigger crowds than all Souths and your team Penrith.

It is has also been very widely publicized that Latrell is looking forward to finally get to play in front of a of majority home crowd for the 1st time in his NRL career.
It is still the topic of much discussion and intrigue how support for the Raiders in the 2019 GF favored them by 85%.
The commentators stated this at least 4-5 times during the game.

Life is so glorious being the “Pride Of The NRL” World Back to Back Champions.

Todd Greenberg was so proud of the Australian flag colours of Red White and Blue Sydney Roosters being the number one club on the planet.

In 50 years time I can see the Roosters winning the Universe Challenge Cup when we take on the Mars champions.
