The Sydney Roosters have secured the services of NSW Waratah's winger Reece Robinson on a one-year deal.
The 30-year old has had previous stints with the Eels, Broncos and Raiders, prior to converting to rugby union.
Robinson has proved himself as a lethal try scorer, scoring over 57 tries in first-grade during his time in rugby league.
Robinson's acquisition is due to the departure of Connor Watson and Mitchell Pearce, meaning that the Roosters needed to chew up the salary cap space left remaining, pursuing a handy-pickup, who can play a utility role as well as guide their young powerhouse, Latrell Mitchell.
With Robinson on their cards for 2018, the Roosters are still prepared to splash the clash on their prestigious No.1 target, South's back-rower Angus Crichton. The boom 21-year old is hot property, and the Roosters won't back down against rival clubs.
Blake Ferguson and Michael Gordon - who are Rooster's two first-choice wingers - are off-contract at the end 2018, meaning that there'll be fierce competition for positions in the starting line-up.
Robinson adds great depth out-wide, particularly during the absence of their Origin outside backs.
