Rival clubs can save their breath in asking for Roosters enforcer Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, according to coach Trent Robinson.
The back-to-back premiership coach says Waerea-Hargreaves will see out the final year of his deal at Easts, with the 30-year-old an important part of their make-up.
“Definitely (he’s staying). Jared isn’t going anywhere,” Robinson told Channel 9 on Tuesday.
“I know there’s been talk, I would want Jared as well (if I was a rival club).
“But he’s a Rooster and he will be staying here.”
Waerea-Hargreaves impressed during the Roosters' grand final win on Sunday, and was in-line for the Clive Churchill Medal before a royal mix-up in the seconds before the award was presented.
The forward played 20 games for the Tricolours in 2019.
