NSW centre James Roberts will be fit to make his State of Origin debut at the MCG on June 6 in Game I, after confirming his Achilles injury won't bother him in his preparation.
Roberts suffered an Achilles injury during the Broncos' win over Parramatta last Thursday night, and was originally ruled in doubt for the Origin opener.
He only trained a small portion of the Blues' first session on Tuesday morning, but is confident he'll be right to go as the game edges closer.
"It's just been bothering me all pre-season really, and season so I've just got to monitor it. Short session today," Roberts told nswrl.com.au.
"I'll be sweet.
"It was always part of the plan just to ease into it and slowly get better in the week and do a bit more load."
