Manly hooker Apisai Koroisau is nearing a decision about his future with interest from as many as half a dozen clubs.
The premiership winner's most viable options are the Bulldogs and Warriors as neither club would need to move other players to balance the salary cap like their fellow rivals.
Koroisau still has two years left on his Manly deal but the Sea Eagles are letting him explore his options.
The Warriors offer is more lucrative but he is looking likely to move to Belmore on a three-year deal according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
Manly have noted young gun Manase Fainu as a long-term No.9 and a move for Koroisau would free up salary cap space for siblings Jake and Tom Trbojevic to stay on as expected despite recruitment interest from the Bulldogs.
Canterbury are looking at the Knights for more signings after being unsuccessful with Jesse Ramien as they remain in the mix for Herman Ese'ese, though the coaching change has made talks more complicated.
