Matt Moylan could be on the move with reports rival clubs are circling the Penrith Panthers skipper amid rumours he's unsettled.

Fairfax Media is reporting that the Penrith Panthers are keen for Moylan to see out the four remaining years of his contract but would not stand in his way should he secure a big deal with another club.

The emergence of Dylan Edwards and Tyrone May this season has seen the Panthers charge towards the finals while Moylan has been sidelined.

Edwards, in particular, has been in fine form at the back and has the fullback position his.

It remains to be seen if the Panthers would actually release Moylan, their current club captain, from the remainder of his deal but the club are aware that rivals have expressed interest.

"All I know at this stage is he has four years on his contract to go," Panthers chief executive Brian Fletcher told Fairfax Media.

"To my knowledge, at this stage, that's the deal. He's a Penrith boy through and through.

"We want him here, but we can't control what he wants to do."
