Manly are eyeing Warriors hooker Issac Luke, as reported by The New Zealand Herald.
It is understood that the Sea Eagles have identified Luke as a potential target to beef up their hooking stocks, with Apisai Koroisau signing with the Panthers for next season.
Luke's manager Bruce Sharrock confirmed Manly's interest in the 32-year old.
"They see him playing a role there, both as a player and in helping guide the young guys," Sharrock told theĀ New Zealand Herald.
Luke has likely played his last game for the Warriors in Friday night's loss to the Rabbitohs, with the Wests Tigers also showing interest in him.
Warriors coach Stephen Kearney admitted after the South Sydney defeat that Luke would likely be playing elsewhere in 2020.
"When he is playing well and playing his best footy, he is an asset for any footy team. But he has to be at his best," said Kearney. "He's been a wonderful servant for the footy club and for rugby league."
Luke was open minded about the prospect of finding a new club.
"I loved my time here, always loved New Zealand," Luke said. "If it ends up I have to find somewhere else, so be it. Our little family is happy to move on. If I have to go to Australia to play, I'll put my hand up."
