Off-contract Titans cult figure Anthony Don is being courted by the Bulldogs, Sharks and Rabbitohs as his future remains up in the air, according to the Gold Coast Bulletin.

The 30-year old has become a fan favourite amongst Gold Coast supporters following his impressive rise from the Grafton Ghosts. He made his debut for the Titans in 2013 and has played a total of 101 NRL games and scored 60 tries.

Gold Coast have a two-year offer on the table to Don that is reportedly worth less than the $180,000 deal he is currently on.

Meanwhile, all three Sydney clubs are reportedly also offering two-year deals that trump Gold Coast's proposal and may entice Don to leave the club.

Don has proved to be one of the great budget players in the league in recent times, enjoying a breakout season in 2017 that earned him a NSW Country representative position and Titans player of the year honours.

The Titans are reportedly happy with their offer considering the winger's injury history and age. He told the Bulletin earlier this season that his preference was to remain a Titan, but is "open to the idea of moving".

“My negotiations have been fairly different,” Don told the Bulletin.

“I’ve always preferred to stay on the Gold Coast, so I’ve always just gone to the club and seen where they were at and get something done pretty quickly.

“I haven’t really talked to any other clubs in my career.

“I love the Titans and I love the Gold Coast, so if it happens (that I can stay), that’d be great.

“But we’re in an industry where you can get moved on pretty quickly, so you’ve got to be open to the idea of moving. You’d love to stay but you might have to go.”
