Wests Tigers could be without their right side centre Esan Marsters next season after reports suggest he wants a release from the final year of his contract.

Both the Cowboys and the Bulldogs are reportedly very keen to sign Marsters if he chooses to leave the Tigers at season's end, according to WWOS.

Marsters, 23, had a great 2018 season where he played every game for the club and was their top point scorer but has been frustrated with the lack of service in 2019.

He is equal with fullback Corey Thompson for the most tries with nine for the Tigers though has made it known he wants more action down his side of the field.

Since debuting in Round 13, 2017 he has played 59 games for the Tigers scoring 13 tries.

If Marsters decides to pursue other options, the Tigers will be in search for a centre and former Knight Jesse Ramien will be at the top of their list.

The Tigers host the Sharks on Sunday afternoon at Leichardt Oval in a do-or-die clash in order to play finals this season.
