2018 Golden Boot winner Tommy Makinson has been seen in Newcastle according to TotalRL.com,ย fueling speculation he could be on his way down under.
Makinson had a strong year for St Helens, scoring seven tries in 22 games, while also adding four in four matches for England, which was enough to see him take home the Golden Boot as the best player of the year on the international stage.
The 27-year-old was reportedly chatting to Newcastle coach Nathan Brown, with Channel 7 reporter Liam Cox tweeting out the news on Monday.

With Ken Sio leaving the Knights and heading back to England recently, a spot could be open on the wing for Makinson.
The Knights have already boosted their outside backs stocks, signing Jesse Ramien and Edrick Lee for 2019.
