Parramatta is reportedly keeping tabs on veteran Cronulla prop Matt Prior, as the Eels look to add some size and depth to their forward pack, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
The Sharks have a salary cap squeeze on their hands for the 2020 season, and have already had to rid themselves of youngsters Jayden Brailey and Kyle Flanagan.
While Kurt Capewell could also be set to move on, Prior is another name that has picked up some interest, with the Eels adding him to their hit-list.
Prior joins Reagan Campbell-Gillard as targets of the Eels, with Parramatta reportedly at the head of the RCG queue if he becomes available.
A lot of the Sharks' 2020 cap is tied up in just a handful of players, with Shaun Johnson, Andrew Fifita, Josh Dugan, Matt Moylan, Aaron Woods and Wade Graham all on handsome deals for the 2020 season.
The 32-year-old is contracted to the Sharks next season, but the lure of a long-term deal could be enough to see him move clubs.
