Manly head coach Trent Barrett has threatened to leave the club due to it's poor resources.
The Sunday Telegraph is reporting that an infuriated Barrett has asked his manager Wayne Beavis to send the club's chief executive Lyall Gorman a letter outlining his concern over the lack of goods.
Barrett could leave the club to take on Penrith's current vacant coaching position, while Manly are reportedly so concerned with the situation that officials are surveying the market for potential replacements.
Manly are currently without a recruitment manager and general manager after Gareth Holmes departed to Canterbury.
Additionally, league Immortal Bob Fulton has not been replaced since he quit the club in August.
The Sunday Telegraph reports that Barrett will meet with Beavis on Monday to discuss his future at Manly.
Gorman insisted on Monday that the club's current primary focus was to close out the season strongly and would focus on replenishing their resources at the end of their campaign.
“We’ve only got one focus and that’s to win our last four games," he told The Daily Telegraph.
“Then we’ll review where our club is at the end of the season.
“The job now is to avoid the wooden spoon then getting on with building the foundations for next year. I’m hopeful Baz will be there.”
