The Toronto Wolfpack have set their sights on luring Buffalo Bills star Christian Wade, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Wolfpack officials are quietly confident they can lure Sonny Bill Williams to the club on a two-year deal to help the club during their promotion into the Super League, and now have their eyes firmly on signing Wade.
Wade was a rugby sevens star for England before making a move to the NFL this year, similar to that of ex-Sharks player Valentine Holmes. Wade was unable to make the Bills' final 53-man roster though and is currently on the practice squad, just as Holmes is but with the New York Jets.
Wade is still unsure whether he will continue to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL or move on elsewhere. Enter the Wolfpack, who believe Wade has the ability to become a star and generate some serious noise for the club.
