Melbourne halfback Brodie Croft's pending move to Brisbane appears likely to fall through, with reports indicating the two clubs have failed to reach an agreement.
NRL.comĀ is reporting that the Storm and Broncos have ceased talks over the 22-year-old's future due to a disagreement over the portion of Croft's salary Melbourne would pay.
As a result, the bright prospect looks set to stay put for the foreseeable future. His contract with the Storm expires after the 2021 season.
Croft has played 39 games and scored 12 tries for the Storm since making his debut in 2016, including 22 appearances and five tries in a breakout 2019 season.
