Parramatta Eels star halfback Mitchell Moses is set to sign a $2.5 million, three-year deal according to Fox Sports.

The news follows the key re-signings of head coach Brad Arthur and club captain Clinton Gutherson earlier in the year.

Moses has been a big part of the reason why the Eels currently sit in the Top 8 and is currently sitting 4th in the Dally M voting.

The report from Fox Sports also suggests the Eels have up to $500,000 still available in their salary cap prior to June 30 and are on the hunt for more players to sign.

The club had been heavily linked to recently released Penrith Panthers fullback Dallin Watene-Zelezniak but have now gone cold on the Kiwi star.

It's expected Moses new deal will be announced in the next few days.
