No less than four NRL clubs are chasing Sydney Roosters enforced Zane Tetevano, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The report states that the 28-year old has knocked back offers from English Super League clubs to take up a contract in Australia.

Tetevano did not want to play against the Roosters as a member of the club's 2018 premiership-winning side, but the Tricolours did not have room for him in 2020.

Penrith, St George Illawarra, Wests Tigers and Gold Coast are touted as potential landing spots, but no clubs have been linked to the Kiwi prop at this stage.

He has a strong relationship with Tigers and New Zealand coach Michael Maguire, with his NRL side on the lookout for forward depth following the medical retirement of Ben Matulino and departure of Ryan Matterson.

Tetevano played a key role in the Roosters' back-to-back premiership triumphs despite being replaced from the 2019 side by Jake Friend after originally getting named.

He was later given a ring by coach Trent Robinson.

The enforced was reportedly desperate to remain at Roosters next season but must now look elsewhere, while wanting to keep his young family in Australia.
