Disgraced rugby star Israel Folau has reportedly met with league club Brisbane Broncos in an attempt to resurrect his career, according to Triple M.

Folau began his sporting career in rugby league before code-hopping to the AFL, then finally playing rugby union.

Recent social media posts forced Rugby Australia to sack Folau, who is currently challenging the sacking in court.

According to Triple M radio, Folau met with the Broncos last week.

"You know who was having a meeting at the Broncos last week?" asked Ben Dobbin on Triple M.

"in the coffee shop at the Broncos, Israel Folau was having a meeting with the management of the Brisbane Broncos last week on Origin Wednesday."

Before making the shift to the AFL, the Broncos were the last club he played for throughout his league career.

Following the spotting, it has been said that Folau is currently in Melbourne, where it all started for him with the Melbourne Storm back in 2007.
