According to Fox Sports, the Canberra Raiders have signed English halfback George Williams for next season.
The 24-year-old will join the club on a three-year deal, although it has been continually denied by the Raiders hierarchy.
English players have been openly discussing Williams moving down under for the past couple of weeks.
Williams has played for the Wigan Warriors in the English Super League for the past six years.
He has played 160 games for the club and was contracted with the side until 2021.
However, Canberra is believed to have paid a transfer fee for the player, similar to the type of deal they struck with John Bateman last year.
Williams will join other English internationals in the team, including Bateman, Josh Hodgson, Elliott Whitehead and Ryan Sutton.
