South Sydney superstar Sam Burgess is at the centre of the recent off-field scandal, with The Saturday Telegraphย revealing it was his social media accounts that were used in the incident.

On Friday, news broke that big name Rabbitohs players had been involved in a sexting scandal back in May, with one woman claiming she was exposed by two players against her wishes.

Messages back and forth between the two parties have been confirmed with Burgess' Instagram and Facebook accounts, while two pictures were obtained byย The Saturday Telegraph,ย with one player posing nude from the waist down, while another bears his backside to the camera.

The players' faces cannot be seen in either photo.

The incident stemmed from the women's initial message, which was to alert Burgess to someone using his images on Tinder.

Burgess replied and asked if she swiped right - which she did - before suggestingย โ€œThe boys want to face time.โ€

After first contacting the club in June, she received an email back from the Rabbitohs'ย football operations manager, Brock Schafer, although she never received a response on any of her following emails.

She recently spoke toย The Saturday Telegraphย from overseas, and said she would love an apology from those involved.

โ€œI first asked the club to investigate in May but, apart from an email acknowledging my complaint, no one got back to me,โ€ she said.

โ€œI donโ€™t want anyone to get into trouble and I donโ€™t want any money for this.

โ€œI just want this sort of behaviour to stop โ€” the players think theyโ€™re indestructible.

โ€œItโ€™s not fair girls are put in a position where they are made to feel violated and uncomfortable. An apology would be nice.โ€
