The Rabbitohs have announced the signing of forward Ethan Lowe for the 2019 season.

The 27-year old joins South Sydney after 108 NRL games for the North Queensland Cowboys, making his debut in 2013 and winning a premiership with the team in 2015.

Lowe is renowned for his hard working attitude and goal-kicking prowess, boasting an 80 per cent success rate.

Rabbitohs GM Shane Richardson was delighted to make Lowe's signing official.

“He has a number of strings to bow which will benefit our squad and he is an edge back rower who will create more competition for spots in our back row throughout the season," Richardson told the club website.

“He will have an opportunity to put his best foot forward under Wayne (Bennett) here at Souths and we’re all looking forward to seeing what he can achieve in red and green.”
