South Sydney Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire has dismissed rumours that the club is looking to offload Robbie Farah.
The Rabbitohs are only paying $200,000 of Farahโs $950,000 salary this year, with theย Wests Tigersย paying the bulk of it.
That subsidy will finish at the end of the season though and it was reported that several clubs have been approached about taking Farah on for next season.
Maguire though was quick to reject the rumours ย when asked by reporters if the club were shopping Farah around though.
"No, Robbie has a contract here next year," Maguire said.
"A lot of people probably have Robbie wrong. He's been fantastic for us ... He's been excellent for Damien Cook.
"I'm sure he'd like to play more time. But at the moment, we see the fit of how we've been going has been working for us ... Cookie's been able to play some good football."
