The Penrith Panthers look to have lost Leilani Latu for potentially the rest of the season.
Latu was forced from the field in the 45th minute of the match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and was immediately ushered into the change rooms.
The club later confirmed that Latu had been taken to the hospital with a suspected broken jaw.

If confirmed, Latu would be looking at 4-6 week recovery.
The Panthers still sit outside the Top 8 and with only five rounds remaining for the Penrith club, the injury could see Latu not play again in 2018.
