The NRL have confirmed Adam Gee will return to on-field duties for the biggest game of the Pacific Championships so far as he takes control of the Australia and New Zealand blockbuster in Melbourne.
While the contest serves as nothing more than a warm-up for the following week's decider in Hamilton between the two sides, Gee has so far only held a bunker responsibility during the tournament after refereeing the NRL grand final.
Belinda Sharpe will referee the women's game between the same two countries beforehand, while Chris Butler has been given the other men's dead rubber between Papua New Guinea and Fiji in Port Moresby.
