FULLTIME - NSW 24 - QLD 10
So, the game winds down, and the Blues avoid the sweep, but the series is all about Queensland who take it 2-1.
75' - NSW 24 - QLD 10
And we have a pitch intruder.
72' - NSW 24 - QLD 10
That will likely be it. Valentine Holmes fumbles a kick in the in goal with plenty of space, and time is now running out for the Maroons to gain a clean sweep.
70' - NSW 24 - QLD 10
The Blues will be forced into another drop out here after a bit of ad lib play from Cameron Munster.
68' - NSW 24 - QLD 10
A short kick-off and the Maroons will go straight back onto the attack here. They need an immediate reply to stay in this game, and they get one! Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow! It's another Munster crossfield kick looking for Taulagi, and the ball then falls into the grasp of the Hammer who appears to score. Replays show the ball hit the ground before Tabuai-Fidow was able to get a hand on the ball, so they can't possibly award that. And yes, no try. 20-metre restart for the Blues.
66' - NSW 24 - QLD 10
Stephen Crichton converts. Is that enough for the Blues to avoid a series sweep?
65' - NSW 22 - QLD 10
Queensland, you feel, must be next to score, and they are muscling up in defence this set as if they know they need to capitalise on some momentum... But it's that left edge again! The Blues are going to score and that might be it! James Tedesco switched to the left-hand side, slipped straight through the line and found Bradman Best to run away and score. Cherry-Evans completely and utterly burned there.
64' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
Right then. End to end, then Queensland look to shift either side to come out of their own end. Cherry-Evans kicks on the last, and Nanai flies, but Tedesco too good in the aerial battle this time.
62' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
So, the Blues force a drop out. Queensland go short, Stephen Crichton flies and Isaah Yeo crashes over in the corner to score. It has been awarded, but this will be checked. Not sure if Crichton has knocked this on. Appears to have hit his finger, and this should be overruled. And it will not only be overruled, but Yeo was ahead of Crichton, so he is offside and it's a penalty for Queensland to work it out of trouble.
60' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
So, the Maroons muscle up in the defence and are able to go on the attack out of it, but Cherry-Evans' kick is just a touch too long for Xavier Coates who can't get it back into play.
57' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
Sensational crowd - a tick over 75,000.
55' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
Well, it's all happening here. Cherry-Evans chipped over the top, then kicked again on the run. Collins grabbed it and refused to pass, but appeared to knock on into the Blues. Ashley Klein awarded Queensland a penalty, but then changed his decision. Cherry-Evans challenges, it's a knock on and the Blues will be in attack.
53' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
The Blues up against it here. Defending their own line with a set restart. The Maroons though wind up running out of room, with Coates having to throw a ball back in play before going into touch, only to find Tedesco.
49' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
A bit of push and shove between the two teams, and it's led to changes. Reece Robson is out there, and so is Corey Horsburgh who gets smashed by the defence. Hunt drops it on the next and the Blues will come back onto the attack here.
46' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
A Taulagi break gets the Maroons out of trouble this time with the visitors quickly inside 10. Last play though and Cherry-Evans grubbers looking for Nanai. Tedesco saves it, and a drop out will follow.
44' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
Oh wow. The Blues are fired up now. Racing out of the line and making huge contact on the Maroons. The visitors get away with the set though and Tedesco brings back a long kick.
43' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
So, the Blues mount a captains challenge here claiming Daly Cherry-Evans went for a trip, but nothing there, so Queensland will have the ball to bring it out of their own end.
41' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
Back underway here at Homebush!
HALFTIME - NSW 18 - QLD 10
That's the end of the first half. Plenty of excellent attack throughout, and the Blues lead by eight. You can check the halftime report out here. We will be back in 15 minutes for the second half.
39' - NSW 18 - QLD 10
So, a penalty for the Blues, and Stephen Crichton makes no mistake adding two points to the lead.
37' - NSW 16 - QLD 10
Valentine Holmes misses the conversion.
36' - NSW 16 - QLD 10
It's hammer time! Brilliant work here from the Queensland centre, with Tabuai-Fidow doing it all himself. Grabs the ball flat-footed, puts the hammer down and then grubbers through for himself and a try.
35' - NSW 16 - QLD 6
The Maroons set comes to nothing, and now it's a penalty for the Blues coming out of their own end. That doesn't come to anything either with Bradman Best knocking on.
33' - NSW 16 - QLD 6
This game is being played with real intensity and speed here. Queensland with a penalty to come out of their own end here though.
29' - NSW 16 - QLD 6
Isaah Yeo and Ben Hunt into the game here for the two states respectively. Blues work it out of their own end and Moses kicks long to Brimson.
28' - NSW 16 - QLD 6
Some quality attack here from Queensland! Grant with an incredible offload off a break out of dummy half, but the pass from Brimson in the back field hits the ground and the Blues survive.
26' - NSW 16 - QLD 6
The Maroons onto the attack after a surprise grubbering short kick-off here. They are inside 10 with a couple of plays left, and then Cotter almost over on the left edge. Last play of the set, Munster runs, offloads, then the ball pings out wide and Holmes offloads to Cherry-Evans who puts a kick in, but it dribbles dead.
25' - NSW 16 - QLD 6
Crichton with the goods on the conversion this time.
24' - NSW 14 - QLD 6
The Blues looking better than they have all campaign here, and a large part of that is down to Cody Walker, who has been great so far. Cameron Murray starting too. And it's getting better for the Blues because they are over again! Bradman Best this time slices through on the left hand side. They are having a field day out there. This time it's across the middle through Cook for Walker who offloads with a cut out for Best and he runs through the gap. Nanai badly exposed there.
22' - NSW 10 - QLD 6
Crichton misses the conversion.
20' - NSW 10 - QLD 6
The Blues now spreading it in the set after points and Addo-Carr! My goodness. What a try. The Blues head to the left, and Addo-Carr makes the break before chipping over AJ Brimson to regather and score. Unbelievable play from the winger.
19' - NSW 6 - QLD 6
The Blues take the two, and Stephen Crichton makes no mistake to tie the game up.
18' - NSW 4 - QLD 6
And a penalty for the Blues now as Grant takes Mitchell Moses in the air after kicking. They will come straight onto the attack here.
16' - NSW 4 - QLD 6
Tough kick from the corner for Stephen Crichton and he misses.
15' - NSW 4 - QLD 6
The Blues hit back! Coming off the back of a set without much happening, the Blues flicked it to the right-hand side, with Koloamatangi handing off to Crichton and then for To'o who scores in the corner.
13' - NSW 0 - QLD 6
Valentine Holmes converts.
12' - NSW 0 - QLD 4
Against the run of play, the Maroons are on the board. The penalty allows the Maroons up the board, and Munster puts the kick up to the corner. To'o looks to fly, but Tabuai-Fidow flips it back into the path of David Fifita who won't be stopped from there.
10' - NSW 0 - QLD 0
Sets both ways, and an end-to-end game breaking out before Stephen Crichton gives away a sloppy penalty to let the Maroons out of their own end.
8' - NSW 0 - QLD 0
A strong set for the Blues here capped with a half break from Tedesco and a punching kick to the corner on the last from Mitchell Moses.
7' - NSW 0 - QLD 0
Fa'asuamaleaui might have been in the news off the field this week but he isn't letting that distract him with a powerful carry up the middle again to rescue this set for the visitors. Addo-Carr will bring it out of the corner once again.
6' - NSW 0 - QLD 0
The Blues squander any momentum they could have built off that penalty with Martin putting down a short ball from Walker at the line.
5' - NSW 0 - QLD 0
Both teams looking to attack early here. Queensland spread to the left and Tabuai-Fidow was swerving in and out, before Addo-Carr goes on the counter attack after fielding a kick from the field of play. Queensland then give away a penalty with the ball coming out of trouble.
4' - NSW 0 - QLD 0
So, Best ruled to be offside and it will be Queensland who go the other way on the back of a penalty.
3' - NSW 0 - QLD 0
The Blues with some of the shaky attack that characterised their opening two games of the series here as a ball hits the ground, followed by a slow play the ball. Moses dangerous on a carry, and the Blues 10 out on the last before Walker goes left. He looks to grubber through, and we are going to the bunker on a possible Best try.
1' - NSW 0 - QLD 0
Away we go! Queensland with the first set and a solid kick down to the corner, but the Blues have a penalty with all the chasers offside.
8:00pm
The Blues are making the long trek from the centre of excellence into the ground. It'll be national anthems and then go time here in Game 3.
7:45pm
Pre-game entertinament wrapping up. Origin 3 is about 20 minutes away.
7:25pm
We are expecting New Zealand band Six60 to headling the pre-game entertainment shortly. Crowd is building, but it's hard to see this being anything near a sell out based on what we are seeing at the moment.
7:05pm
Teams are locked in. No change for either state.
7pm
