  1. Matt Dufty (St. George Illawarra Dragons)

The best in a beaten side. Although coughing up the ball in the final minutes which allowed the Roosters to put the final nail in the coffin, Dufty carried his side on his back for much on the contest. Scored a try, broke the line on multiple occasions and broke seven tackles on his way to 200 run metres.

  1. Mahe Fonua (Wests Tigers)

Scored a hattrick and recorded a try save in his side’s demolition of the Gold Coast Titans.

  1. Esan Marsters (Wests Tigers)

Burst on the scene last year with some good early season performances and has replicated that again this year. In a man of the match performance, Marsters scored a try and set up another as he broke through 10 tackles and ran for 180 metres with ball in hand.

  1. James Roberts (Brisbane Broncos)

Put in his best performance of the season as Brisbane secured their second win. Scored a try, broke five tackles and ran for 150 run metres.

  1. Corey Oates (Brisbane Broncos)

Was back to his best after two poor performances. Scored a try, broke the line twice, shrugged off seven tackle attempts and recorded 165 run metres.

  1. Anthony Milford (Brisbane Broncos)

Had the ball on a string for the first time in a long while as he led his team to victory against a depleted Sharks side. Recorded two try assists, two line break assists and a whopping 600 kick metres.

  1. Mitchell Pearce (Newcastle Knights)

Much like Milford, Pearce put in his best performance of the season after a slow start to the year. Scored a try and set up another as his side earnt their second win of the season.

  1. Siosiua Taukeiaho (Sydney Roosters)

An under-rated player who, when at his best, is among the best forwards in the competition. Against the Dragons, he put in a near 300-metre performance (272), scored a barnstorming try and broke five tackles.

  1. Danny Levi (Newcastle Knights)

Perhaps the best performance of his career and (finally) showed why he was touted as the next big thing out of dummy-half upon his debut in 2015. Set up two tries, ran for 105 metres from dummy-half, completed over 40 tackles and recorded a line break.

  1. Martin Taupau (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles)

Was at his devasting best on Sunday afternoon against an in-form Canberra side. Scored a try, ran for 160 metres, broke seven tackles and created second phase play with three offloads.

  1. Viliame Kikau (Penrith Panthers)

The best player on the field despite being apart of the beaten side. Scored a barnstorming try, even toppling Sam Burgess over. The Fijian also broke ten tackles and recorded two line breaks on his way to 170 run metres.

  1. Corey Harawira-Naera (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)

Another backrower who earnt man of the match honours on Friday night. Scored two tries and saved another as he put the Cowboys to the sword. Along with his 150 run metres, he also completed 50 tackles.

  1. Rhyse Martin (Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs)

Just edged out South Sydney’s Cameron Murray to take home lock of the week honours. Set up a try, kicked four goals, ran for 130 run metres and completed 25 tackles as he got one over the club who never gave him a chance.

  1. Joe Ofahengaue (Brisbane Broncos)
  2. Cameron Munster (Melbourne Storm)
  3. Jake Friend (Sydney Roosters)
  4. Josh Jackson (Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs)
