Former NSW Blues forward Nathan Brown has reportedly found a suitor in the Manly Sea Eagles and is in talks to sign a new contract for the 2024 season.

This comes after Brown's future has been in limbo recently after Sydney Roosters coach Trent Robinson confirmed he would not return to Bondi for the 2024 season.

"Nathan Brown. I really want to say thankyou for coming over. It has been tough for Browny coming across from Parramatta but he is a good man and he has shown that this year," Robinson said.

Now, the Sydney Morning Herald has reported that the Manly Sea Eagles have opened negotiations with Brown after just officially confirming the signing of Bulldogs utility forward Corey Waddell.

It has been reported by the publication that Brown and his manager met with Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold on Tuesday regarding a move to the northern beaches.

If Brown does join the Manly Sea Eagles, he will add to an already impressive forward pack that includes the likes of Jake Trbojevic, Haumole Olakau'atu, Taniela Paseka, Josh Aloiai and Gordon Chan Kum Tong.

He would also become the sixth new recruit the club has signed for the upcoming season after the garnered the services of Luke Brooks, Tommy Talau and Aitasi James from the Wests Tigers, as well as Jaxson Paulo from the Roosters and Waddell.

The 30-year-old has represented Italy, the NSW Blues, and Prime Minister's XIII and has also enjoyed stints with the Tigers, Rabbitohs, Eels and Roosters - including a Grand Final appearance in 2022 with the Eels.
