Penrith halfback Liam Coleman and Wests Tigers recruit Zane Musgrove will fight accusations that they attacked a woman during a night out at an eastern Sydney pub last year, as reported by theย Daily Telegraph.
The police reports that the pair touched the victim's breasts and groin at theย Coogee Bay Hotel at 12:30am on Saturday November 24.
It is understood that the woman met with Musgrove three weeks prior to the incident and reported the indiscretion to security and the police.
Coleman and Musgrove pleaded not guilty to several charges that included indecent assault at a Waverley Local Court on Wednesday.
Musgrove has been banned from going within 50 meters of Coogee Bay Hotel and may not contact the victim or any witnesses per his bail conditions.
Neither player will be required to appear in court when their cases return in March.
DW Toddy (Greenberg) will give both a great reference in court…they will get off with a slap on the wrist.
Gronks
They all get off because it may affect their careers. Money talks.
Hey guys, what about the presumption of innocence until proven guilty right? You three are automatically assuming they are guilty. If they are convicted, then they deserve to be rubbed out of the game.
